Assembly to probe policing in the capital

Watch the full London Assembly meet this morning to look at policing issues in the capital. From questions over statistics to concerns about thetaxpayer getting the best value in the Met’s Great Estate Sell-off, I and my colleagues will be probing the way policing is being carried out in the capital.

Following the discussion on policing, the Assembly will move motions on issues such as food poverty, the Mayor’s mis-use of his strategic planning powers, using planning policy to protect pubs, and preventing inappropriate basement development.

The meeting starts at 10am in the Chamber at City Hall. The public are welcome to attend, or you can watch it online here.
