London Assembly Plenary

As the country prepares for the devastating impact of the welfare reforms that come into effect later this year, the London Assembly comes together for an all-member meeting to discuss how the changes will impact London in particular. From the bedroom tax to the implementation of universal credit, the high cost of housing in the capital means Londoners will take more a hit than anywhere else in the country. Unfortunately the Mayor has not stood up to demand special allowances for us.

I will stand, along with my Labour colleagues, at the Assembly plenary session beginning at 10am.
