Come join Labour’s London Policy Discussion

I would like to invite London’s Labour party members to a policy discussion tomorrow evening.

Labour supporters have an ongoing opportunity to shape the party’s policies on the Your Britain website, where anyone – regardless of whether they’re a party member of not – can share their ideas on how the next Labour Government can tackle the challenges that face Britain. There are ten Challenge Papers on key issues, and Your Britain members are able to post comments on each of them, and respond to the comments of others. It’s an inclusive and dynamic way for party members and others to make sure that Labour’s policies reflect the needs and will of the public.

Along with my fellow London representations on the National Policy Forum, we wanted to take the policy discussion idea from the virtual world to the physical. We’re hosting a London Policy Discussions this Friday in central London. Participants will enjoy a brief introduction to the Your Britain before breaking down into three separate workshops to discuss three Challenge Papers: Housing, the NHS and social care, and Protecting workers. The outcomes of the discussions will feed into the Your Britain process.

The London Policy Discussions is this Friday 01 March 6-8pm in Westminster. RSVP is strictly required. If you would like to come, please email me at nickygavron@yahoo.co.uk with your name and contact details.
