Londoners gather outside City Hall to call on Mayor to reverse his cuts to emergency services

I joined my Labour colleagues and other Londoners outside City Hall yesterday to protest against the Mayor’s cuts to our emergency services. The demo was organised as part of the 999SOS campaign, an ongoing effort I helped launch late last year which demands that Boris thinks again about the impact of his cuts on the safety and security of residents, and stands up for Londoners against the cuts being imposed by the Conservative-led government.

We gathered outside City Hall before the London Assembly session on the Mayor’s budget, which I wrote about yesterday.
