Guardian covers London Plan hearing

I wrote yesterday about the second session of the Examination in Public into the London Plan, which was focusing on Boris Johnson’s proposals regarding housing. I was joined by local councils, housing experts, and community groups in arguing that the Mayor should not be allowed, as his plan attempts, to stop developers and housing providers from building social rented housing in London.

Dave Hill covered the EiP in the Guardian, including a link to my blog, and rightly discussed the impact that yesterday could have on the future of housing in London. I am glad Hill and the Guardian decided to cover an event which, as he described, ‘addressed issues that are vital to London’s future.’
