In recent years, I have taken a week out of my summer to go to a tranquil village in one of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth: Tällberg, Sweden. In this tiny hamlet situated amongst the gentle hills overlooking Lake Siljan, leaders and thought-leaders from across society and around the world come together to share insights on the most compelling issues of our time. It is a chance to take a step back from daily life and the opportunity to pursue thoughtful reflection and discussion.
This year, the Tällberg Forum poses the question: How on earth can we live together? The focus will be on technological evolution and its impact on social, political, economic and environmental realities. What breakthroughs lie ahead? What futures do we still not discern? The challenge is to go ‘Beyond our imagination’.
I am unable to join Tällberg for this year’s event, beginning tomorrow 14 June and running until Sunday 17 June. That’s why I’m glad the foundation will be streaming its sessions live and OnDemand free for the public. If you have a chance over the next few days, I’d strongly encourage you to click on the link and join these important conversations of our time.
