One Response to Interview: ‘Housing crisis endangers London’s social fabric’

  1. Socrates says:

I’ve been going on about the up to 100,000 families that are facing eviction from Berlin because of the rents and heating cost being too high following the Hartz IV reforms. Unfortunately few people are interested in reading in German, so until this English article appeared there seemed little prospect of interesting anyone over here as to the likely future of London.

I’ve know doubt this happening in London will please all the Old Eatonians whose school trips were made so frightening by unsupervised contact with the lower classes, but it’s going to make finding cleaners, cooks and porters a little tricky…

Welcome to the future. Class War, anyone?
